From what I hear, promoting a business and getting exposure can be very helpful on the net, but I hear that you need to really know about search engine optimization and how to to pay per click well. I have heard about many that have done well, but I also have heard that if done wrong, you can lose alot of money. I hope I can get some good help from the small business support network.- Sandy

BIg tip – SEO is VERY simple to do – it does NOT require spending lots of money to achieve, and the essential elements of both on-page and off-site SEO are easily done by even a novice. And that basic information is available for free in lots of places – the trick is just actually DOING something about it!
You are right with PPC… it can cost a fortune if you don’t know what you are doing! So take some time to learn this yourself if you want to go that way. Be on the lookout here for companies who you pay to manage your PPC campaigns for you… I’ve heard too many expensive horror stories about that
